For many women, the term self-care often becomes a foreign concept once motherhood occurs. Why?
I believe there are several key reasons why mothers find it difficult to take better care of themselves:
Time - One of the major barriers to self-care is the feeling that there’s just not enough time. Going from leisurely lunches with friends (before the days of motherhood), to sleepless nights, packed lunches and car pooling, is a huge adjustment. Often we are left feeling stretched for time.
Multiple Role Players - In today’s society, moms play multiple roles - everything from career professional, soccer mom and committee volunteer, to chauffeur and housekeeper. How can we find time for ourselves while juggling all these roles?
Guilt - Feelings of guilt play a huge part in why mothers spend little time taking care of themselves. Guilt can be associated with being away from our family due to work commitments, taking an hour to ourselves when there already seems to be so much to do, or by just trying to do something that is important to us and does not involve the family.
As moms, we believe that by being away from our kids, or not involving them in virtually everything we do, we are somehow not living up to our duties and responsibilities.
Perfectionism - The need for perfection in our lives is another barrier to self-care. Perfectionists are always seeking that ultimate feeling of having everything under their control, often not doing (or enjoying) anything unless it can be done perfectly.
Seeking perfection in our self-care may lead to not participating in it at all. Self-care can’t wait until everything else is perfect.
At times you will need to forego the housework, committee meeting or staying late at the office. Not all things can be completed before incorporating self-care into your day. For perfectionists, this concept is a difficult one, therefore adding to the neglect.
Lack of Support - Lacking a support system is a common reason many mothers do not participate fully in their self-care. Many women may not have the support of a partner or family members to help out in order to give them time to themselves.
Poor social supports and few friendships can contribute to the lack of connection women feel at times. This emotional connection is necessary for your health and happiness, and is also a major part of self-care.
Finances - Financial status may also play a part in the frequency in which women participate in their own self-care. Often mothers conclude that if only they had more money they would take better care of themselves.
As you can see, there are several reasons why we as mothers may put
self-nurturing at the bottom of our list. For our own health and happiness however, we need to start moving it up to the top.

Generally speaking a betting house is an edifice that focuses on wagering. At such a place, aficionados can enjoy themselves going for one armed bandits or plenty of other wagers. Betting establishment games habitually include precisely determined odds governing them which insure the gaming house retains the upper hand above the betters. no deposit bonus online casino
Rather a lot of betting establishment games can sway you into getting overly obsessed rapidly. There’s the notorious 1-armed-bandit, a cash operated instrument with three, sometimes more cylinders which swivel when a lever on its side is wrenched. This appliance by and large recompenses corresponding with a series of pictograms observable on the panel of the contraption. Disastrously, betting house pastimes present an illusion of manageability, thereby conning the gaming enthusiast - the punter is confronted with choice, but in actual fact these won’t ever truly remove the customer’s longterm negative odds. That is induced by the betting establishment never refunding the full stake as expected. This pattern will generally be noticeable in popular casino games like straight poker, craps, roulette or blackjack.
Seven card stud poker is definitely a very fashionable casino game. The bettors, meticulously guarding their either fully or partially covered cards, will wager in a central pot which is finally given to the last player carrying the best hand. (Of course, the bluffing hand can easily win too.) Commensurate with five-card stud poker, blackjack too is a very trendy casino game. An amount of its notoriety is by virtue of the mix of luck and talent & decision making, and a system labeled “counting”. This is a craft in which visitors may significantly change the winning odds of the game in their interest both by betting and strategy actions in accordance with the cards dealt.
“Craps” is another acclaimed gambling hall game involving the roll of two dice. Aficionados have to place bets on the score of 1 roll, or on a string of cycles of two dice. In contrast to blackjack, there just isn’t any conceivable long term winner system punters could capitalize on to bend the odds.
Roulette is another famous pastime — a croupier spins a roulette wheel that incorporates a set of exactly 37 (applies to European roulette) or, alternatively exactly 38 (American or Vegas roulette) differently tagged cells in which the ball must come to settle, marking the winning number and the other odds. Whenever a player bets on a particular number and makes it meaning it’s their lucky day, the promised return is going to be thirty five to one, the original bet itself is returned. Therefore in totality it is multiplied by a factor of thirty-six.
We recommend you try to be very much cautious under all circumstances for many of those betting saloon games of luck may well be extremely habit forming. A lot of lives have probably been ruined as a result of gambling + even though it surely might be a lot of fun, do strive to practise moderation.

Owning a glass transportation vehicle is different than buying any other kind of glass machinery. While the glass business specializes, the machinery that surrounds it, makes improvements at the same time.
The effective, controlled distribution of flat glass and its ancillary applications, created the literally hundreds of glass transportation racks configurations to meet these needs.
With the large volume of products possible, an in depth study looking at your businesses unique specifications is very much needed to buying a glass rack. Even though its easy to purchase a universal glass transportation rack from most manufacturers, for little or no additional surcharge you have an expert design a custom glass rack to meet your exact needs.
Coming up with a few requirements in these ways can assist you choose the combination of body and chassis that will get the most out of your purchase.
Keep in mind that bodies usually hold up for at least two or three chassis. Planning ahead that far takes a good deal of consideration because the rack truck body must be remounted to a specific chassis type design. The chassis arrangement will also tell you the major considerations of the body specifications including ledge width, rack size and payload.
Glass racks usually are now available in 3 composition materials: aluminum, stainless steel and carbon steel. Each material brings its own benefits and downsides.
Carbon Steel is the cheapest rack material, however it it will probably bring with it high maintenance costs to keep it looking good, which can be a challenge in rust-proneweather conditions.
Aluminum racks are favored for its lightweight density. When painted or anodized, it will keep its shine without much maintenance for years and years. Aluminum are a bit pricier and are more troublesome to fix than steel.
Stainless Steel is an excellent material choice for those concerned with corrosion resistance and endurance. When designed properly, steel should prove a years of light maintenance and extended product life cycle. Due to stainless steels immunity to corrosion, etching the exposed steel for painting is hard, and thus the bodies are not painted. A brushed exterior aesthetic is the steel glass racks normal look. Steels only drawback so far is its expensive investment price tag.

What Gemstone for My Colouring?
The following tips are useful guidelines to steer you towards the most suitable gemstone colour palette.
Is your hair solid silver or dark without golden highlights?
Do you have dark eyes?
Is your skin tone olive, cool or sallow?
Do you look better in silver than in gold?
Then you are amongst the majority of white Caucasian people.
You can wear clear, clean, bright colours particularly with a lot of white in them. Your best basics are black and navy.
Most semi-precious gemstones will suit you but the following are ideal:
Garnet
Amethyst
Lapis Lazuli
Moonstone
Rose Quartz
Black Onyx
Turquoise
Blue Topaz
Does your hair have golden or red tones?
Do you have medium to dark eyes?
Is your hair dark or medium dark?
Is your skin tone golden or peachy?
Do you look better in gold than in silver?
Then the colours of a typical sunny Autumn day suit you - browns, greens, burnt oranges, teal, deep aubergine.
Your best basics are olive green and brown.
The following semi-precious stones are ideal for your colouring:
Peridot
Carnelian
Tiger Eye
Coral
Turquoise
Citrine (especially the golden yellow to orange shades).
Amber
Smokey Quartz
Labradorite
Does your hair have golden or red tones?
Do you have clear, light to medium eyes?

Aqua Chalcedony
Is your hair medium to light with cool tones?
Is your complexion a typical English Rose - radiant with translucent skin and apples in your cheeks?
Do you look better in silver than in gold?
Then all shades of pastel blue, pink and mauve suit you and your basics are grey and a greyed navy.
The following semi-precious stones are ideal for your colouring:
Blue Chalcedony
Moonstone
Rose Quartz
Amethyst
Blue Topaz
Fire Opal
To Match or To Contrast?
- As a rule of thumb contrast the jewellery to stand out on a plain understated outfit e.g. Turquoise or Lapis Lazuli against all black, Coral or Citrine against dark brown. Equally successful is a contrasting but toning colour e.g. Peridot against dark greens, Blue Topaz against navy.
- As part of the same rule, pick out a colour in a print and coordinate to that colour e.g. if you are wearing a multi-coloured pastel print pick out the pink, blue, aqua, lemon, lilac etc. and use a gemstone of that shade to match or tone in.
- Pearls are pretty universal and will add light to most outfits
What Length Chain?
If you’re pondering the length of chain you need to wear with a pendant the first thing to decide is what you will wear the pendant with.
Inside an open-necked shirt, over a jumper or with a V-necked T shirt?
A small and dainty pendant will look better on a lighter, shorter chain but a larger, heavier design will suit a more substantial chain and could look stunning worn low on a longer chain.
Once you have made this decision all you need is a piece of string long enough to go round your neck and finish at the point at which you want the pendant to drop.
If it helps you to visualise the finished effect, thread the string through the bail and knot it at the desired length.
Measure the length of string and this is the chain length to buy.
What Style of Earring Will Suit Me?
Jewellery is a very personal affair and you have to feel comfortable wearing your choice.
However, here are a few guidelines to consider:
Face shape and hair style will influence what suits you.
- A pair of large earrings on an elfin face will overpower the face’s fine features.
- Similarly, over-large earrings with a short hair cut can look unbalanced.
- Long hair can hide a discreet earring so something more dramatic may be called for.
- A long neck can carry off a long chandelier or drop earring but this style will emphasise a short neck. If you’re not a swan, choose a short drop earring instead.
- Hair worn piled up on the head adds height and lengthens the neck. This is an ideal opportunity to wear a drop or dangly earring and it’s so sexy!
- Consider the neckwear you have chosen and balance the earring. A dramatic statement necklace requires a discreet, minimal earring. If no necklace is being worn then the earrings can take centre stage.
- Stud earrings suit most face shapes and are practical for everyday.
How Much Jewellery Should I Wear?
- If you are wearing a statement necklace - something large and bold - keep the earrings minimal and discreet. Otherwise the effect of the necklace is lost and your head and shoulders are in danger of looking like an overdressed Christmas Tree. Remember that jewellery is an accessory and should not overpower you. After all it’s you who wants to shine!
- Similarly, think carefully about your hands. Many rings of a similar type worn together can create a certain “look”. However a special or statement ring needs space around it and does not require accompaniment.
- Avoid over coordinated looks. If you have the matching necklace, earrings, brooch, bracelet and ring they don’t all have to be worn together. Be selective and think about the outfit they are accessorising - what does it need?

The light & energy template, which I work with on the body, connects the head with the heart. Doing this energy work alignment, balances wisdom with love. When these two chakras are connected up and balancing one another, it is so much easier to see and feel negative beliefs pop up and make a play for overtaking your body.
The grace of being able to feel that vast abundance of universal love is truly a blessing. All too often the mind will run it’s negative programs of fear and lack. Sometimes it may even be hard to discern what negative beliefs are running our minds. We just know that something feels tight, and we would rather it not be there.
Recently I bought a book called the, “Path of Empowerment” by Barbara Marciniak. She channels for the Pleiadians. A good segment of the book has to do with how feelings are always connected to beliefs and how one of the main reasons that all of us are here on Earth doing our journeys of life and death, has to do with managing energy. This means taking responsibility for the fact we decided to be here at this time, and that we all create our reality.
First we have to be inside of the body, consciously breathing, to know that what we are feeling isn’t serving our best interests. This isn’t easy to do sometimes. Stress is fed by the electromagnetic polluters of the environment, such as microwaves, cell phones, computers etc. These electronic instruments tend to drain our energy. This is only one of the negative influences in our environment, but right now it is a mighty big one.
Negative beliefs are part of the program we are fed, from the time of conception, by society. Of course now the energy dynamics have changed since the Harmonic Convergence in 1987. The polarities that we set up in our imprints aren’t being carried over into the genetic code of the New Children, (read Indigos, Crystals, Diamonds etc) who are coming in now.
Those of us who aren’t New Children are still cycling the negativity of society’s imprints within our subconscious, and unconscious. The other night I was meditating and all of a sudden I felt something wrapped around the right lobe of my brain. It was a very constrictive feeling. I asked spirit for guidance. I traced the feeling back to the beliefs: It’s the nature of duality to be against whatever I want to create. There’s always something outside of me that will prevent me from manifesting my intent. It’s always going to be against me!!!
I released these beliefs via a prayer that Benu (the Arch Angel Gabriel) gave us. As soon as I said the prayer and separated my hands and acknowledged it was permanently and fully released, I envisioned this golden/lime green light turn into a snake and slither out of the right lobe of my brain.
I had never had this happen before. I immediately felt a whole lot more space in my brain. A gigantic burden had been lifted, a new exhilarating lightness had replaced it. I believe that when we concentrate on opening the heart and feeling the divine current of unconditional love that it will continue to pour through us and liberate those parts of the mind that are still running the negative programs.
Praying is the asking for our intents to be heard and acted upon by Prime Source (our Creator). Meditation is the receiving of the answer we have prayed for. My prayer was heard this night.
The type of energy work I do is the EMF Balancing Technique®. Since I have received the first four sessions about a year and a half ago, my process of cycling the negative beliefs has accelerated. Polarities, that I had been hanging onto, since early childhood, have come up and cycled through my being, across different time lines. Wha la, an interdimensional healing!!!
The first session connects up the head and the heart. This new dynamic is a permanent activation that keeps on working within all four levels of my being: the spiritual, physical, mental, & emotional.
This inner wisdom is always at play. It manifested the other night in my meditation to free me of this really nasty three pronged negative belief system that had embedded itself around my brain, causing the deep feeling of fear, the fear of failure. It’s times like these I can indulge in a hearty laugh over the insidious nature of these deep-seated beliefs and how ludicrous they really are. It’s just that if I can’t consciously feel them and trace them to a belief I don’t have a chance to cycle them.
The game has changed brothers and sisters. We’ve been empowered with this new energy dynamic that supports our own inner knowing. Discernment is the key word right now. Who do the lies benefit? Why is there so much corruption? Why is such a power struggle going on right now? Why is there a war being waged over oil?
Instead of feeling bitter and judging these events, I’m learning to accept it and shine my own inner light to make the reality I desire. We can all do this. When shine our own individual lights we take away the power of the darkness that is fed by fear, lack, and violence. It is the bedrock of the old energy dynamics.
The new energy dynamic, of being the truth of our own inner being, is just waiting there to be implemented by anyone who wants to use wisdom and love to access the universal energy source, (the Cosmic Lattice).
The permanent activation of your energy anatomy with the EMF Balancing Technique®, corrects the flow of light & enables you to release blocks. Create your desired state of healing within the physical, mental, emotional, & spiritual bodies of your being.

One of the great things about the Internet is it has made us instant communicators, instant authors and instant ad copy writers. One of the WORST things about the Internet is it has made us instant communicators, instant authors and instant ad copy writers. Too many people just type an email and hit “send,” including emails intended to sell us something. Or they build a nice looking web page, type their content and immediately go to their FTP program and upload it. They don’t bother to read what they’ve written first.
We see the results of this daily: Email ads so poorly written we instantly delete them and web sites with so many typos we have no confidence in the business’ abilities or integrity. In short, lost sales. (The author of a guide I recently read about spotting scams on the Web mentioned that some things they all seem to have in common are misused and misspelled words, misused or missing punctuation and typossloppy work.) I’ve seen web sites that seemed to be written by people whose first language was something other than English and the whole message was lost.
And here’s one worth a chuckleor a shake of the head: While reading an eBook telling me how to write one and stressing the importance of proofreading, I saw more typos and misused words and punctuation than I could count. Now, how much should I trust this man’s advice? In fact, I’ve found that MOST eBooks telling us how to make money on the Internet are put together so haphazardly I’m becoming convinced there IS no way to make money using their methods. Anyone who throws together their information in such a hurry they don’t even proofread it doesn’t gain much credibility with me. And probably don’t with you, either.
I’ve been told that this sloppiness doesn’t matter much to the younger generations, from the “X-Generation” down, and that’s apparent by the fact that they tend to be the ones who are most often guilty. But to the older generations it matters a great deal. Now, guess which age group is the fastest growing in terms of Internet use? Which one has the most money to spend? And which one actually spends the most on the Internet? It’s the Baby Boom generation, those people 45 to 55. If you want us to buy from you or believe what you have to say, you’d better make sure your copy is well written.
It also pays to remember that your site design and your writing should be tailored to your targeted market. If you’re selling nose rings, use wild backgrounds and slang. But if you’re selling fine jewelry, keep it simple, clean and easy to navigate and stay away from the slang. Otherwise, you’d better carry lots of nose rings!
After you’ve written your sales letter or web content, read it through. (To save yourself some time, you can use a text editor with spell check, and paste it into whatever program you’re using.) Then send it to someone else to check itsomeone in the same age group as your target market or a professional editor. If it’s a sales letter, send the ‘finished’ product to yourself first to make sure the formatting came out right.
After you’ve done that and uploaded your pages to your server, do it again. I hope you’re going to check your links, anyway, to make sure THEY work. So you might as well check everything else, too. Send the URL to a few friends with different computers and different browsers to see that it looks as good on theirs as it does on yours.
A little time spent assuring it’s right will make a huge difference in your site’s traffic, and probably in your bank account, too.

Online poker provides a great opportunity to practice sound technical poker principles, such as calculating outs and sticking to good starter hands. But poker wisdom and pros often say that the game is more than just figuring out the numbers, pot odds and risk. People, their motivations and playing style make a big impact on the outcome of any poker game.
When playing poker online, you don’t have the same information available to you as during a live game with real people. You can’t pick up on body language signs to read your opponent’s intentions. There is one online tool you can utilize to get to know the other players better, and that is the chat box feature. By making comments about your hand or another player’s, you may draw some responses that reveal information about someone’s playing style.
The chat box can even let you be a bully, especially if you have acquired a big stack. Remember, the psychological aspect of poker can be just as important as the mathematical odds. If you have not encountered any of the players before, and they don’t know you, then you can try to use chat to intimidate, just as some players use trash talk at live tables. It’s possible to leverage the chat box to scare other people off the pot with just a few remarks that make other players wary of calling your bets. But don’t overdo it. Just as when choosing to play a hand, you must choose the right spots to use the chat box to attempt a steal or bluff.
Are you in a bad mood or just unhappy? Don’t worry. There are easy ways to beat a bad mood or even a bad day. Good moods or a peppy personality is not a disposition you are born with or without. And, you’re not doomed to stay unhappy the rest of your life. Your level of happiness is a learned skill. It’s easy to learn. Anyone can learn to bust a bad mood or look at the world through more optimistic eyes.
In my research of happy and optimistic people for my book “Spontaneous Optimism: Proven Strategies for Health Prosperity & Happiness” I uncovered patterns and strategies. Practice these easy strategies in order to improve your mood and become more upbeat and optimistic.
1. Avoid Emotional Vampires
Do you attract emotional vampires or losers into your life? Are you a loser magnet?
Emotional vampires and losers literally drain our batteries, slow us down and make us upset. To become happier, optimistic and energetic — avoid emotional vampires. Unhappy people allow “emotional vampires” to suck their positive feelings right out of their skulls. Emotional vampires include people who put you down, criticize or mock you, or sabotage your dreams and aspirations.
Take survey of your life by making a list of people and situations you expose yourself to. Then, discard or limit people, habits or situations that keep you from feeling optimistic and happy. In other words, ‘burn your bridges’ if needed. Remember: Happy and optimistic people hang around with personal cheerleaders. Unhappy people surround themselves with emotional vampires.
2. De-tox Your Mind
You can de-tox your mind just as people de-tox their bodies. To get rid of negative or intruding bad thoughts, remember this “Rule of Happiness”: You can only keep one thought in your mind at a time. You can focus your thoughts on either pessimistic/unhappy or optimistic/happy thoughts. It’s your choice. Unhappy and pessimistic people focus on gloomy thoughts of how they could fall down and not get up. They expect the worst to happen. Happy and optimistic people expect the best. So, houseclean your head. When setbacks or problems pop-up, immediately focus on finding a solution. Unhappy and pessimistic people focus on complaining, but happy and optimistic people focus on solutions.
3. Optimism and Happiness by the Numbers
Are you obsessed with negative thoughts that lead you to a bad mood? A simple way to become happy and optimistic is to count your way to more positive thoughts. It’s easy to become an expert at switching your negative and bad thoughts to more positive and upbeat thoughts and feelings. All you need to do is focus on counting and switching your bad thoughts to upbeat and uplifting thoughts. Each time you have a negative thought, immediately switch to a positive thought or solution to your woes. Write a tally mark on a pad of paper each time you switch like this each day. Your goal is to decrease the number of times you need to switch. For example, at first you may need to switch 50 times daily. In time, you will decrease it to 30, 20 or 10 times a day. If you are obsessively negative, you will become obsessively positive using this technique.
4. Change your body posture
Happy and energetic individuals take big steps, walk faster and stand taller. They seem to exude an endless supply of energy. In sharp contrast, pessimistic, unhappy and lifeless people shuffle their feet, take tiny steps, walk slowly and slouch. They appear lifeless and have burned-out their batteries. Watch how you carry your body. Use the body-posture of happy, optimistic people, such as take big steps, walk faster and stand taller. Using these techniques will help you become happy and energetic. They are easy to carry out, and will create a positive domino effect with people in your life.
5. Watch what you say — and never say words such as “try”
To begin acting like happy and optimistic people, you need to learn what they do. Optimistic people act and talk in certain ways. For example, they use certain words. The words people use can affect their moods and energy levels. Changing your words can actually change your attitude and feelings. Use “upbeat” words, instead of “upset” words. For example, you can say, “I feel overwhelmed” which is upsetting. Or, you can say, “I feel challenged …nevertheless I can do it” which is upbeat.
One of the most interesting differences between happy and unhappy people is that happy people never or rarely use the word ‘try’ or ‘but.’ These two words leave people feeling hopeless and not in-control of their lives. Happy people feel hopeful, and take tons of responsibility for their lives. The words ‘try’ and ‘but’ are excuses, and unhappy people have a bad case of ‘excus-itis.
6. Focus on What You Want & Not On What You Don’t Want
Worry is the #1 happiness and energy zapper. The fastest way to fill yourself with endless joy and energy is to stop worrying. How can you do that? Each time you have a negative thought, immediately switch it to a positive thought such as a solution to your woes. People who focus on solutions rather than problems are optimistic, happy and very high energy.
7. Pursue What You Love To Do and It Will Light Your Fire
The best way to start your day and jump out of bed with an enthusiastic mood is to find your passion. Find out what thrills you and you’ll find boundless new energy to jump out of bed and start the day with a great mood. People who have no energy in the morning or even during the day are really lost souls. They do not have a real reason to get out of bed each day. Finding your passion or what thrills you in life can turn you on each day, light your fire and boost your mood.
Anyone can become more upbeat and optimist. When people use these techniques, they invariably feel a heavy burdens lift off their shoulders. They feel positive, upbeat, and confident. You only need a few minutes to put these tips into action. They can be your key to enhanced life including your health, wealth, and career success.
Remember: Optimism is the hidden key to your personal success. Optimists possess a clear vision of an exciting life, confidently work on goals to achieve their vision, and take self-responsibility. In contrast, pessimists have no clear vision of a fantastic life, and they love to complain, blame, and moan. So which do you want to be —- happy & optimistic or unhappy and pessimistic? The choice is all yours.

There’s been just about 1.5 metres of snowfall during the last 7 days. The snow was so heavy that ski lifts were stopped, the train has been finishing at the Chamonix train station and not going up to Le Tour. Some roads were blocked past our chalet holiday accommodation and snow announcements issued.
This is in direct contrast to a couple of winters past, when there was the unbelievably hot Feb conditions, mud appearing on the pistes, and warnings that global warming meant the finish of the ski industry in France. Highlighting this the OECD’s report from winter 2006 warned that climate change would make skiing holidays far too pricey for a lot of skiers, with a third of ski resorts shutting with the receding of glaciers. Glaciologists say that it’s impossible to attribute the seasonal differences in the weather to the results of climate change.
So we may have the deepest recession in 30 yrs, and the Sterling has plummeted to more levels compared to the euro, but the conditions are grand, and the recent reservations show that people are enthusiastic to revel in the first-class snow. It is probably the finest in nine winters, and many people are stating its the best skiing conditions in at least 10 years.
Nevertheless think that snow like this means high risks of avalanche.
Aromatherapy - a world of fragrance.
The ancient Egyptians used aromatherapy thousands of years ago. Aromatherapy, a word that derives from ‘aroma’ meaning fragrance or smell and ‘therapy’ meaning treatment is based on an ancient principle that the spirit and the body should be in harmony. Hippocrates claimed that the secret to good health was to have an aromatic bath and a scented massage each day.
Aromatherapy, the healing art of using essential oils extracted from aromatic plants for therapeutic purposes is enjoying a modern-day revival. Extracted from fruit, flowers and tress, blends of these essentials oils can be incorporated for their healing properties and create a particular aroma.
Each essential oil used in Aromatherapy can be used either alone or in combination with other oils to promote health and a sense of emotional well-being. A full Aromatherapy treatment combines the beneficial properties of essential oils with a warm relaxing massage
While essential oils are considered to be safe to use, they are very powerful, highly concentrated substances which should be treated with a great deal of respect.
Some of the most common essential oils and their effects:
Chamomile: Soothing and harmonizing
Clove: Warming
Fennel: Clearing
Eucalyptus: Balancing and stimulating
Grapefruit: Refreshing
Jasmine: Soothing
Lavender: Calming and healing
Lemon: Cleansing and stimulating
Orange: Calming and energizing
Before beginning any Aromatherapy treatment, it is important to understand how each essential oil works. Do not use any oil that you are not familiar with. Certain oils should be used during pregnancy or when brest feeding. Always consult a professional for advice on which Aromatherapy treatment best suits your needs.
